Case Study Updates

Case Study S, East Coast, USA, December 4, 2016

Since I last wrote, we went ahead with a full blood workup of our daughter and discovered that she had very low levels of Vitamin D for two years! We were infuriated that our pediatrician had known this, and never told us, and had never recommended Vitamin D supplementation for our daughter!

We immediately put her on 1600 IU Vitamin D3 per day and amazingly, a day or so after we started the Vitamin D3 supplement, we noticed a significant improvement with her LS symptoms. Even more, she commented to me, “Mommy, my mind feels so clear.” Equally miraculous, as soon as we started her on the Vitamin D3, she began sleeping 10-11 hours through the entire night (I’d mentioned to your previously that she had never been a good sleeper).

You asked about her nosebleeds, and in early September we also started her on Vitamin C (in your book you make the correlation between Vitamin C deficiency and nosebleeds). Since that time no nosebleeds!

With just the implementation of vitamin and mineral supplements that are recommended in your book, our daughter’s condition has improved dramatically, but she still has occasional slight itching and white spots that appear and disappear.

We started her on every-other-day healing soaks and she drinks one cup of Yogi detox tea per day, so in essence, she is on a partial “mini” healing protocol, but we believe the full protocol will completely knock out the LS.

We wanted to start her on the full protocol but we will be out of the country for several months and adding the remaining protocol ingredients would be too cumbersome. When we return in a few months, we’ll start her on the full protocol.

We believe our daughter is on a continuing upward path to better and better health and wellbeing all around. Your book has opened the door for us and the sunlight is pouring in. I can’t thank you enough.

As of today, I’m done with the healing protocol! I can’t believe a whole year has gone by! It’s been a most amazing year. Can’t believe how many changes I’ve undergone in such a short time, and I can look back and see that the decision I made after reading your book was not only the best decision I ever made, it was also the catalyst that led from one terrific thing to the next, like stepping stones leading me to where I am right now. I remember sitting here thinking how much work it was going to be to go on the protocol, but I shake my head at myself now, a year later.

The road back to health was spectacular, way, way more than I could have ever dreamed of one year ago! Completely gone are LS, fibromyalgia, headaches, sleeplessness…the list of former health issues that are no longer present just goes on and on.

The only two issues that still linger are rosacea, which has significantly lessened, and occasional outbreaks of eczema. I still have healing soak ingredients that I’ll continue to use until they are gone. Likewise, even though I’m done with the protocol, I still have some nutraceuticals left and will continue to take them until they are also used up.

A little over a year ago I was really ticked off at my body, and especially angry with the LS, which seemed like a very low blow at a time I couldn’t deal with all the rest of the crap I already had. Now I look back and feel like celebrating because that was the best turning point I ever had. Thank you again so much not only for your book and protocol, but the constant support during this past year.

Case Study S, East Coast, USA, August 11, 2016

In 2015 our 6-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis, and of course the only advice the physician could offer was to put her on Clobetasol.

Initially we sought the help of a Chinese medicine practitioner who put our daughter on oral and topical herbs, along with acupuncture. This treatment helped tremendously, when during spring her symptoms disappeared. We thought we had nailed LS, but then at the beginning of summer she began flaring again.

Aside from the LS diagnosis, our daughter has been plagued by two things. She has very bad allergies and in fall develops a nighttime cough. She also gets frequent nosebleeds every few weeks. And finally, she has never been a good sleeper despite the exhaustive things we have tried.

I read your book and am very interested in your protocol, and would like to implement your full protocol. We have already implemented Step 1 by eliminating all non-organic personal care and household cleaning products, and Step 2 was easy because we already eat only organic.

By the way, both my husband and I are environmental health scientists and professors at an esteemed University’s School of Public Health. From my perspective and the training I have as an environmental scientist, I believe that your hypothesis that LS is ultimately “caused” by total body burden of the soup of chemicals that we’re all exposed to is correct. Your book truly resonated with me.

(Note from Ginny: The name and location of the university has been omitted to preserve the anonymity of the parents and their daughter.)

Case Study M, U.S. Pacific Islands, August 4, 2016

I’m in the 8th month of the protocol, and the LS, fibromyalgia, REM sleep apnea, muscles spasms, eczema, rosacea, and several other “minor” issues are completely gone!

I haven’t had a single eye pain for about 6 days now, completely gone and it doesn’t feel puffy any more either. My shoulder and joint pain are good, still a little stiffness in the morning, but still going in the right direction. I’m able to do a lot more physical activity now, but best of all I’ve been able to go back to work! I’ve been working from 7 am to 8 pm some days! My job requires a lot of standing, as well as a lot of computer work, which I had been unable to do before starting the protocol. I’m feeling so much better in just a 6 weeks on the protocol! [Ginny’s Note: See Case Study W update of February 21, 2016.]

Case Study M, U.S. Pacific Islands, March 9, 2016

I just got back from my gyno appointment and have more good news! He was once more astounded at the progress I’m continuing to make on the protocol. He said I had LS inside my vagina, all throughout the labia area, and all the way to the anus, and that the clitoris was in the early stages of fusing, so what he called the “architecture” was being systematically destroyed. That’s why he showed me all those awful pictures at my first visit! I wasn’t all that far off from getting there, and he wanted to be sure I’d take the condition very seriously. I’d started the healing protocol on November 7th, and by the time of my 2nd appointment with him in December, the LS area was reduced to the size of a dime, with no inflammation anywhere. Now it is March and he said the dime-sized area is completely free of white patches, the thin skin is gone, and he says there’s just a tiny area that he’d like to see pink up a little bit. Everything else, including the inside of the vagina is totally normal, and the labia is now totally normal too, with no abnormal skin, no fusing going on, nothing! My next appointment with him will be in July. I’m really happy the news was so good, and I really believe the last traces of LS will be gone by then. What a difference the last four months have been, compared to the year of hell before that!

And for the first time in years, I was able to have my blood pressure taken on my upper arm. The fibromyalgia is almost totally gone from there now, and now the sides are starting to come around.

“I am feeling GREAT and I’m not even on the full protocol just yet! I’ve just completed the 2-week preliminary protocol and start the 1st quarter of the full protocol tomorrow! My condition causes me a lot of pain and stiffness that was progressing, but in the last two weeks, ever since I started the vitamins and supplements, it hasn’t progressed.

I have a lot more mobility in my shoulders and definitely a lot less pain (60%). I haven’t been able to wash my hair or reach out for my cup of tea as I couldn’t lift it with my arm fully extended. Now I can pull the curtains in my living room (that’s huge for me at this point!). My hips still ache a little, but again, a lot less. I would say 30% better.

My head had hurt constantly, but now I have only intermittent pain now and again, maybe 2-3 times a day. I used to have visible swelling of the eye, but now that is gone. I still get a feeling of swelling beyond my eye, but even that seems to be dissipating. Over the weekend I did not have that feeling, but today I do (maybe from working on the computer all the time).

I definitely have more energy, especially starting with this last week of the preliminary protocol. My eye is still painful but not as often. It’s not constant like it used to be just two weeks ago. On bright days, not even sunny days, I’d have to wear my sunglasses, but not today!

And the biggest surprise is my blood pressure! It’s gone down from an average of 158/90 (even with BP medication) to a steady reading of 125/80. I am so happy about that!

Anyway, I just popped in to give you an update on my progress!”

Thank you for replying so fast! If it wasn’t for your book I don’t know what would be of my life now. I know I am not fully healed yet, but I have been on the healing protocol for only a month. A year on the protocol is a very short period of time comparing to a lifetime of this nightmare.

I used to be itchy but not so much, it was for a period of like an hour and then it stopped, but it was almost every day. I can’t even begin to understand how many women with LS have so much itching that they can’t even sleep. I also felt a burning sensation that was there all the time and some usual pain. And I got more tears, like three at a time on the vestibular area. They closed for maybe a day with clob and then re-opened. Now I only have the one without using clob.

All day I could never forget I had LS. Now for hours I don’t even remember I have LS. There has definitely been improvement! I haven’t even realized it until now that I sat down to remember every detail. Glad I am a case study and thank you for such kind words. I will keep you posted on my improvements.

Ginny thank you so much again for your words and for answering my questions. You have brought such joy and hope into my life. I really believe that more and more women would come across your protocol, and that God will lead us all into the path of healing.

Case Study D, West Coast, USA, January 2, 2016

I have been doing well health-wise. The LS seems like it is healing. Thank goodness! Because of my LS I haven’t been exercising, but now that I can wear the proper clothing, I am planning on stepping up my exercise starting this week. Still not wearing jeans. The last time I tried I had some irritation. Just think it’s smart to take things slow.

My headaches used to be at least once a week, but it’s been weeks since I’ve had one. The wart is definitely smaller for sure [Ginny’s Note: Warts are caused by the Human Papiloma Virus and depending upon the strain or strains, will appear on hands, feet, or other areas.]

It seems like the time is going by fast on the protocol and will begin the 2nd quarter the first week of February. I’m feeling very positive about this path.

LP, East Coast, USA, December 20, 2015

I want to thank you with all my heart for your book! It was the first thing I’ve ever read that actually gave me hope that I wouldn’t have to live with LS. I had LS for three years (plus a year at least before I was diagnosed) and was prescribed Clob, which only made everything worse. I tried various creams and oils that have been recommended by others with LS, but while some reduced the itching and rawness, nothing made it go away. I was scared because my bits were disappearing. My hair was also falling out in clumps and thinning. I’d step out of the shower and be covered with loose hair. After brushing I’d have more hair in my brush than I used to have in a week or more of brushing. I also had acid reflux so bad I’d have to sleep sitting up in bed and had antacids with me everywhere I went. I kept them in my car, next to my bed, in my purse, just about every drawer in the house, and had to take them constantly.

But that has all changed! I learned of your book last winter and from the very beginning it sounded promising. I started following your recommendations almost immediately. I stopped using Clob and began using the olive oil. It was like night and day because it felt so soothing. I ditched the Paleo diet and followed the links in the back of the book to start replacing all of my cooking ingredients and finding organic products and organic farms and farmers markets nearby. Funny how I never knew those things existed near me until I began looking for them. I also began ridding my home of all of the toxic cleaning and personal care products in favor of those that you recommend and got some plants. Not only do I feel physically better, but I also feel psychologically better that my home isn’t poisonous.

It took awhile to gather all of the healing protocol items, and I started the healing protocol on March 16th. It wasn’t too difficult, your diagrams helped get me organized, but I wish there had been a way to contact you then because I would have gladly become your case study. But I have managed being on the protocol on my own for 9 months now without any problems.

I haven’t itched in months and can’t even remember the last time I itched. My vagina no longer feels inflamed or irritated, and I used to have a crack alongside my clitoris that has completely gone away. My hair gradually stopped falling out. One day I got out of the shower and I wasn’t so covered with hair, and when I brush my hair, there are only a couple of loose hairs in the brush. I can also sleep like a regular person again because my acid reflux is  gone! All I’d hoped for was to be free of LS and never dreamed I’d be free of everything else too!

I’ve saved the most exciting news for last. My LS…or lack of it! I had a checkup with my gynecologist in September. By then I’d been on the protocol for 6 months. She is thrilled with the turnaround of my LS and that I haven’t lost any more tissue. Yeah! She said the Clob had done its job and I am in remission! I’m ecstatic!  But I know it’s more than remission, I am free of LS, and Clob had nothing to do with it because I haven’t used Clob in over six months. But I didn’t tell her about getting rid of all of my meds and being on the healing protocol because she isn’t receptive to alternative medicine.

Nine months have passed and I’ve got three more months to go on the healing protocol. The time has really flown by, maybe because it has been the easiest, most painless experience and the answer to my prayers. More than the answer actually because I’m already LS free and the bonus is that I’ve now got a full head of hair and no acid reflux! I feel great! Better than I have in years and my friends and family tell me I look great too!

I don’t normally write letters like this or make my personal life public, but if making my experience public will help others with LS or other AI diseases to follow everything in your book, I am positive they will be as thrilled as I am with their results. Your book has saved my life and I can’t ever thank you enough!

Case Study M, U.S. Pacific Islands, November 9, 2015

I went to see my gynecologist this morning, and had to tell him I went off all prescription medications on October 1st, including Clobetasol and estrogen cream. Not surprisingly he wasn’t thrilled. “You do know I’m trying to help you, right? Can’t do that if you won’t take the only thing that can reduce your symptoms.” I told him how much worse my legs got after my last appointment with him in September, how my fibromyalgia got worse with pains shooting down my thighs and how I couldn’t even get up steps without my husband’s help, how I started slipping into depression until I discovered your book. I explained what the protocol was about, and that I decided I had nothing to lose, so spent all of October ordering the supplements, nutraceuticals, and just like you had done, transforming my house into a ridiculously over-the-top organic one. He interjected that “what she did makes good medical sense because toxicity either causing or greatly worsening autoimmune diseases is getting more and more serious consideration in the medical field.” Then I told him I started the healing protocol on November 7th, and since then my blood pressure dramatically dropped, I’ve lost 16 pounds without doing any strenuous exercise (unheard of for me), my rosacea is completely under control with no medications, my severe muscle spasms have stopped entirely, the intense pressure in my head is completely gone, I sleep far better at night (6 hours in a row…haven’t done that since childhood), the eczema on the back of my legs and on my chest is gone, and best of all, the fibromyalgia is entirely gone from my upper legs (pounded them to demonstrate their amazing normalcy), meaning that I can now walk as far as I want and run upstairs, and that so far my fibromyalgia has reduced about 50% from my upper arms. He was very impressed with the list of improvements, but said “I doubt it could do much for the LS, but it’s okay to continue the protocol if your LS doesn’t show any signs of getting worse.” I said I wasn’t expecting any improvement to my LS this early in the protocol, but that I was also hoping that it at least hadn’t gotten any worse, and if so, that was victory enough for now. Then he examined me and his head snapped up immediately. “Oh my God! I don’t believe what I’m seeing! Not only has the LS receded to only a small spot where the skin is very thin and still slightly white, but there’s no inflammation, and all the skin tissue surrounding it is entirely normal skin!” He kept shaking his head, saying he’d “never seen anything like it before, that generally the best case scenario is a reduction in the inflammation, not the skin becoming completely normal!” Then he wanted to know the title of the book, said he was ordering and going to read it because he has several LS patients. Needless to say he completely endorses me being on the protocol and wants to see me every 3 months so he can see how it goes from here.

I floated on Cloud 10 from that appointment to my dental appointment. The hygienist and my dentist both confirmed that my gums are greatly improved, the tissue far healthier, and I don’t bleed nearly as much. Also, I have always had an abnormal amount of plaque on my lower front teeth and have had to chip it off myself with a dental tool every few days. Lately I’ve only had to do that once every two weeks or so, so they were very impressed with that as well.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, not only for myself, but for many others out there who are experiencing similar results that you may be unaware of if they haven’t contacted you like I have. THANK YOU!!!! from all of us!

Case Study D, West Coast, USA, November 3, 2015

No headaches! Yeah! And despite family stress, my LS hasn’t been bothering me either. Feeling pretty darn good lately! After completing the year on the healing protocol I intend to stick with all that I have learned. Thank you again for all you do and share. It means a lot. I feel very blessed that I have your support and friendship.

Mike, Canada, September 3, 2015

I ordered your book for my wife and it has been a life-changing book for her, for both of us. Ginny, you really do get what disease is about, and very few people do. It is not easy to make the lifestyle changes to deal with Lichen Sclerosis, but the benefits are worth it. By following every recommendation and the healing protocol in your book, my wife has gone from years of suffering and misery to becoming a normal human being again without LS. Your theory about LS is spot on, and the healing protocol works. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us!

LS Sufferer, July 19, 2015

I read your book and it is amazing! Thank you for giving us hope and sharing with us your methodology for recovery!

Anonymous, June 18, 2015

I really appreciate all the effort that has gone into this book. I have begun following the formula described and am already feeling great relief. I have heard of others also recovering from this condition using different methods, so I assume when the medical profession describes LS as being “incurable” that quite simply no-one has bothered to adequately research the condition or to take note of the number of individuals described here who have healed themselves. I applaud you not only for reversing your own illness but also for your great generosity in sharing your experience, perspective, and formula for recovery. There is so much information in the book. I am truly deeply grateful

I’m reading the book right now and it’s very inspiring. I have been working on clean eating for about two years, but this book takes it to a new level. I really like your philosophy and I am starting to see results. It will be interesting what they say at my yearly checkup.
